This Risk Disclosure explains important risks associated with using Markets.Playpurse.app and related PlayPurse services. Please read carefully before using the Marketplace. By accessing or using this site, you acknowledge and agree to these risks.
Markets.Playpurse.app is a digital marketplace where vendors sell downloadable software, tools, and online content in U.S. dollars. The Marketplace itself does not issue, trade, or store cryptocurrency. Users who already have PlayPurse Wallets may optionally fund purchases through an external processor (CoinPayments), which operates independently of the Marketplace.
While PlayPurse strives to maintain a secure and reliable environment, participation in any activity involving cryptocurrency, including optional wallet payments, involves inherent risks that users should understand and accept.
Cryptocurrency prices are highly volatile and may change rapidly. If you choose to use an external wallet or processor to complete payment, the USD amount shown for products will be converted to crypto at the rate provided by that processor at checkout. Once confirmed, your payment value may fluctuate due to market conditions, and PlayPurse has no control over those changes.
Crypto-based payments processed externally (through CoinPayments or other wallet providers) are irreversible once confirmed on the blockchain. Errors such as sending to the wrong address, selecting the wrong network, or sending an incorrect amount may result in permanent loss of funds. The Marketplace has no ability to reverse or retrieve crypto transactions.
While PlayPurse implements reasonable security measures to protect the Marketplace and user accounts, users are responsible for securing their own devices, wallets, and passwords. Loss of private keys or credentials may result in permanent loss of crypto funds held outside the Marketplace. PlayPurse is not responsible for unauthorized access or losses caused by weak account security or compromised wallets.
The regulatory treatment of cryptocurrencies varies by jurisdiction and may change over time. Users are responsible for understanding and complying with applicable laws in their own regions, as well as in the jurisdiction of the vendor. The Marketplace prohibits listings or transactions involving illegal, restricted, or regulated products or services.
Transactions occur between buyers and vendors. While PlayPurse provides dispute processes and moderation tools, it does not guarantee the quality, legality, or delivery of vendor products. Vendors are independent entities and not employees, agents, or representatives of PlayPurse.
